Aloha,
Please save these important dates for the 2025 Conference of the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa’s College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resilience from April 10-12, 2025.
Our theme “He ʻAʻaliʻi Kū Makani: Resilience Through Innovation,” a fitting vision for this prestigious event; ʻaʻaliʻi (Dodonaea viscosa) is a highly adaptable native plant that can withstand drought, storms, high winds, and pollution. While indigenous to our islands, the ʻaʻaliʻi thrives around the world because of its hardy nature.
Mark your calendar for the:
- Conference from April 10 to 11 at the UH Mānoa Campus Center.
- Closing reception and annual CTAHR awards the evening of April 11 at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaiʻi.
- Tours on Oʻahu on April 12.

I encourage you to apply to be a conference presenter on April 10 and 11. Presenters will share their groundbreaking research and innovative practices that are shaping the future of agriculture, sustainability, and well-being in Hawaiʻi. Click this link to apply by March 10.
